#Branding

GM Web3 is the leading web3 podcast, covering blockchain and web3 news, events, and more on X (Twitter). The founder and host, a friend of mine, requested help from his community to design a new logo. Leveraging my skills in branding, I created a comprehensive logo kit suite for GM Web3, which was well-received and implemented without any changes.

Objectives

  • Primary Goal: Design a new logo for GM Web3 to enhance its brand identity and visual appeal.
  • Secondary Objectives: Provide a full logo kit suite with various colour options and variants to ensure consistency across all channels and graphics.

Approach

  • Community Request: Responded to the founder's request for a new logo design by leveraging my branding expertise.
  • Logo Design: Created a full logo kit suite, including both logomark/icon and wordmark/full variants, in multiple colours.
  • Typeface Selection: Chose a proper typeface to be used consistently across GM Web3’s channels and graphics.

Execution

  • Logo Creation: Designed a versatile logo that could be used in various formats and colours. Ensured the design was modern and reflective of the web3 space.
  • Logo Kit Suite: Developed a comprehensive logo kit suite with multiple colour options to provide flexibility for different use cases.
  • Typeface Integration: Selected a cohesive typeface to be used in conjunction with the new logo for all branding materials.

Outcomes

  • Results: Delivered a complete logo kit suite that was immediately adopted by GM Web3. The new branding was well-received by the community and enhanced the podcast’s visual identity.
  • Client Feedback: The founder loved the work and implemented it without any edits, appreciating the professional and cohesive design.
